Memories of
George Dominicus Carter
Written by his granddaughter
Grace Carter Gamble
Grandpa George D. Carter died December 7, 1922. Warren left here & went back
down to Provo area. Warren died Jan 10, 1922. As near as I can find out Grandpa,
Warren and my father Myrin Carter logged out the lumber for the buildings on
the farm. Grandpa hauled the logs to the saw mill & then they built the buildings.
Grandpa was handy with tools I understand from talking to my brother Myrin Davis
Carter. Dad told Dick about Dad's cutting the logs with Warren.
I hope this helps. I just barely remember walking through the fields from our
place to Uncle Noel's when I was little with Dad & Grandpa. They took ahold
of my hands and swung me across the ditch.
