1923 Family Reunion of
James Christen Johnson

A Reunion of the James C. Johnson family was held at the family home in Logan, in September , 1923, in honor of father's seventieth birthday. A delicious dinner was served and a general good time followed. It was decided that a similar reunion should be held each year on the Saturday nearest father's birthday, each son and daughter taking a turn at entertaining , the eldest first and so on down to the youngest. Accordingly the next reunion was held in Smithfield, Utah, in September 1924, at the home of Richard and Hilda Roskelley. After dinner, a program was rendered consisting of musical selections and a brief sketch of the lives of father and mother.
